PersoType
PersoType is a specialized type design studio and font shop, the idea for which dates back to 1396 SH (approximately 2017-2018 CE), and it officially began its activities in the spring of 1404 SH (2025 CE). This collective is a nascent platform for the promotion of type design and the professional development of Persian fonts. PersoType relies on 15 years of exploration, experience, and specialized knowledge in the world of typography, type design, and visual culture. These experiences are offered not only in the form of fonts but also through various books, articles, and educational content.
Here, type is not just a tool; rather, it is part of a way of thinking, a path, and a narrative for discovering ideas and fostering new dialogues in Persian type design.

My interest in type design and typography was not merely an aesthetic concern, but rather stemmed from my curiosity about the interaction of letterforms with readability and visual recognition. In recent years, my main focus has been on experimental design and improving the legibility of Persian/Arabic typefaces.
To expand my knowledge and experience, I conducted specialized research for two years in the READSEARCH research group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ann Bessemans. Subsequently, I received my second Master’s degree in Graphic Design, specializing in readability in type and typography, from PXL University College (School of Media, Arts and Design). My final project was the design of a Persian/Arabic typeface for very small texts (4 to 7 points), with a letter body height (corpus size) between one and two millimeters, optimized for laser printers. This project was selected at the 2023 annual festival showcasing top talents from the next generation of higher education in Belgium, in the fields of graphic design, industrial design, motion graphics, architecture, and game design.
